Cheesecakes: A Sweet Visit to Seven Neighbourhood Cafe in Edinburgh

In the bustling city of Edinburgh, there's a charming cafe on Home Street that has garnered attention not only for its traditional Scottish breakfast, being named one of the 10 best places in the city by Wanderlust Led Travel Magazine, but also for its extraordinary selection of cakes and cheesecakes.

As I wandered through the city, the pink facade of Seven Neighbourhood Cafe immediately caught my eye. Stepping through the door, you're greeted by a burst of color and charm. The decor is eclectic, with lovely paintings, vibrant plants, and even paper pom-poms hanging from the ceiling.

Though the cafe is quite small and can be challenging to find a seat during busy times, the friendly atmosphere and delicious food make it well worth the wait. The interior is not overly modern and does show signs of being well-used, but this only add a cozy feeling.

One of the highlights of my visit was the unique cheesecake flavours. I had a crème brûlée cheesecake, a flavor I'd never seen before. Previous to that they have even had a basque cheesecake! I aim to pop back soon to see what other interesting flavours they might have!
